She likes more than cheese and tomato sauce on her pizza, she just didn’t know it.

With my 7 year old niece visiting, we made pizzas from scratch. We tasted ingredients before we put them on the individual pizzas. Without talking about them as toppings, we enjoyed tasting bell peppers, mushrooms, sauteed chicken, even raw sweet onion and olives. She picked what she wanted as we assembled our own pizzas and for the first time she had more than just cheese and tomato sauce on her pizza, and loved it.

Fun story! At my nieces recent 8th birthday party, all the girls made their own pizza. They were given the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of toppings, and got to make it however they wanted. The party was a big success, and we’ve already done it again as a family. The kids love it!
